Guayadeque Heritage Ride - E-Bike Trekking excursion on Gran Canaria

This electric bicycle tour is ideal for those who want to discover a less seen side of Gran Canaria.
You’ll ride through quiet valleys, visit ancient cave dwellings, and explore one of the island’s beautifully preserved towns.

The route:
A shuttle will take us from the bike shop in Playa del Ingles to Telde, where we start pedalling.
Our first stop is in Cuatro Puertas, a cave complex that offers an inside look into the island’s aboriginal heritage.
From there, we head into the tranquil Guayadeque Valley.
The gradient kicks up, but thanks to the e-powered bicycles, climbing it feels smooth and effortless.
Along the way, almond trees line the route.
At the tops, we take a break to enjoy the panoramic views of the valley, the winding road below, and the Atlantic in the distance.
Next, we descend into the historic town of Agüimes, where we have a traditional Canarian tapas lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, we ride along quiet roads and coastal paths, with the sea breeze guiding us back to Playa del Inglés, refreshed and full of great memories.
