Ride from misty peaks to sunlit shores.
A scenic descent through the green north’s peaceful, less known and less explored roads.
This guided road tour is designed for cappuccino riders who are ready for a challenge:
a longer ride with a steady climb, offering a view of the island's diverse scenery and landscape.
This tour will take you from the island’s green and quiet north to the southern coast, through cool pine forests and peaceful backroads, finishing with a thrilling descent to wrap it all up.
Tour route:
We start with a shuttle transfer to Zamora, up in the lush northern highlands.
This is a refreshing change from the dry terrain we usually see down south.
From there, we begin the day’s big effort: the climb toward Pico de las Nieves, the highest point on the island.
It’s a challenging climb, but we take it at a steady, comfortable pace, with time to enjoy the quiet roads and forest air.
From the top, if the weather is clear, you will spot Mount Teide on Tenerife floating above the horizon, always a highlight.
Then comes the fun part: a long, sweeping descent through Ayacata, the Fataga Valley and the peaceful village of San Bartolomé.
You’ll feel the temperature shift as we drop, riding through changing landscapes with magnificent views of cliffs, sea, and eventually the famous Maspalomas Dunes.
Highlights:
• Steady, scenic climb through Gran Canaria’s lush northern highlands
• Summit Pico de las Nieves with a relaxed, no-rush pace
• Spot Mount Teide on Tenerife from the island’s highest point
