Green North (incl. Shuttle) - Road bike excursion on Gran Canaria

Cycle high in the green northern mountains.
Then follow the island’s backbone through breathtaking valleys and landscapes.

This guided road tour is designed for hobby riders who can keep a solid tempo: a full-island ride with big elevation, fast descents, and plenty of scenery along the way. It will take you across Gran Canaria’s cool green north to the southern coast, featuring rolling climbs, ocean views, and finishing with the classic Fataga descent.

Tour route:
We start near Zamora, up in the northern highlands, where we arrive via a shuttle from our Playa del Ingles bicycle shop. After a steady warm-up through the quiet roads of Valleseco, we head toward the Mirador de Gáldar, an open stretch with big skies and sweeping views of the Atlantic.

From there, we tackle the climb to Cruz de Tejeda with strong legs and a steady rhythm. Oh, but the reward of the scenery changing as we gain altitude! After a short break at the top, we descend into Tejeda, then head toward Ayacata for the final push.

The day finishes with a fast, technical descent through the Fataga Canyon. Flowing corners, mountain walls, and dry southern air. We roll into Playa del Inglés with views of the ocean and sand dune.
