To fully enjoy this eMTB tour and ride it safely, riders should have a solid intermediate mountain biking skill level. The route includes loose surfaces, rocky terrain, steep climbs and descents, and sections with tight hairpin turns that require good bike control and confidence.

Before joining this tour, you should be able to:

  • Ride confidently on loose gravel, rocky trails, and uneven terrain.
  • Manage steep uphill and downhill sections, often combined with tight switchbacks and hairpin turns.
  • Brake effectively and corner confidently in a variety of off-road conditions.
  • Ride in a standing position when needed and adjust your body position to maintain balance, traction, and control over different terrain features and obstacles.
  • Be familiar with and comfortable using a dropper seat post to adapt quickly to changing trail conditions.
